Skirt Steak Marinated in Cilantro

A real Mexican Carne Asada with cilantro sauce, can't get any better than that.



2 Lbs Beef Skirt/Flank Steak

1 Cup Fresh Cilantro Leaves

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

1/2 Cut White Onion

1/4 Cup Simple Foods Safflower Oil

1/2 Cup Dark Mexican Beer


1. Blend the cilantro, onion, Simple Foods Safflower oil, beer, salt, and pepper in a blender until the marinade is smooth.

2. Place the steak in a plastic bag and add cilantro marinade. Seal the bag and cover the meat completely with the marinade. Refrigerate it for at least 8 hours or overnight.

3. Preheat a grill on medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate with Simple Foods avocado oil. Grill the meat for about 3 minutes on each side for medium rare.
